Yellow Pages TODAY! moves ahead and becomes Yellow Search TODAY!

2 November 2011

The founders of the successful conference and workshop events, Yellow Pages TODAY! , Peter Buxton and Jesper Simonsen announced to you earlier this year a plan to broaden the target audience to providers of all response-related services to the SME market. In line with this broader scope the founders are delighted to announce a new name for the events, Yellow Search TODAY!, a name which more accurately describes the market that is covered.

Starting with the annual conference, which will take place on 16 & 17 November 2011 in Copenhagen (see www.yellowsearchtoday.dk) the content of the presentations will also reflect the wider context of the companies targeted. Full details will be announced at the Yellow Search TODAY! conference in November.

Yellow Search TODAY! events will continue to target the Yellow Pages providers, but also those companies committed to the SME market, including

  • Search Engines
  • Website Design & Servicing
  • SEO & SEM Providers
  • Social Media Networks
  • Mobile Web-Design & Mobile Location-Services
  • Video Production & Servicing

Our objective will continue to be to offer high-quality content and excellent networking opportunities to all suppliers in this broad sector. Peter Buxton said," These are exciting times for the search world. We have been delighted so far with the reaction of the new audience to these important changes. The Yellow Search TODAY! November conference will be the start of a new era! We encourage all involved with services to the SME market to attend this milestone event ! We will be announcing more details in Copenhagen. It is an occasion not to be missed!"

YPT invites developing countries to attend the annual conference for free

YELLOW PAGES TODAY! SUPPORTS THE DEVELOPING COUNTRIES TO ACQUIRE IMPORTANT KNOW-HOW IN THE DIRECTORY SECTOR

Yellow Pages TODAY! has announced a programme to invite leaders of Yellow Pages and search companies in the developing countries to attend the annual conference free of admission charge.

Co-organiser, Peter Buxton stated: "It is clear that the Yellow Pages TODAY! events have always provided the delegates with the opportunity for a significant exchange of industry know-how through detailed presentations, through networking sessions and through exhibitors.
We understand that in some markets the financial circumstances do not allow the cost of a conference ticket. We hope that this offer will make it easier for managers from developing countries to join their colleagues and also be able to take home with them valuable information and ideas for local implementation.
We are pleased to be able to make our contribution to support the development of the Yellow Pages sector in these countries also."
